1993 |
Alan Nichols raced at Nor-Way Pines in a home-made Sprint Car built by
Mike Kondrat for ice racing.

1994 |
First year a real Sprint Car competed at Canaan USA Doug Sanborn in a
J&J Sprint Car ran in the "outlaw-run what ya brung" open wheel class against DIRT Modifieds on a weekly basis.

1995 |
Doug Murphy Sr. purchased a Sprint Car and raced weekly
at Nor-Way Pines Speedway with the 6 cylinder open wheel class.

Tunk Berry ran a Sprint Car towards the end of the season with the
6 cylinder open wheel class. |
1996 |
Doug Sanborn in the #93 organized an exhibition at Canaan with ESS sprint drivers Scott Holcomb # 91and Bob Karkos # 10k, and locals Tunk Berry # 69. |
1998 |
Canaan USA Speedway was sold to Doug Murphy Sr. and name changed to Hurricane Motorsports. They ran a weekly Sprint Car division with drivers such as Tunk Berry # 11, Donny Sharp Jr. # 28, Mark Cole # 6x, Jason Merrill # 2, Alan Nichols # 24, # 1 Charlie Murphy.
1998 Champion- # 28 Donny Sharp Jr
That was the only year New Hampshire got to see a field of sprint cars race together until......

Nick Berry (at age 15) organizes the NESCC - New England Sprint Car and registers it with the state of New Hampshire (races at Bear Ridge, Canaan and Rumney)
